Children are impacted on a daily basis by their parents or caregivers substance misuse; often these children are the first impacted and the last ones to be identified and to receive services.
The DEC Academy 101 will provide foundational knowledge around how drug endangered children are affected every day and everyone’s role in identifying and helping them.

Who should attend?
Child welfare, law enforcement, prevention professionals and coalitions, probation\parole, medical professionals, treatment providers, services providers, education and school professionals, fire, EMS, judges and other judicial staff, attorneys and guardians ad litem, community members, CASA, and others who have a job which works or impacts children and families.
IMPORTANT
Those wishing to participate in the DEC Training of Trainers (dates TBD) MUST attend both the DEC Awareness and DEC Approach sessions.
